About JP Green
James Green started out on his own at the age of 18 after working on a local farm when he left school (which he still provides services for), and then on to a contractor for a short period, as all he wanted from a young age was to own his own equipment. When the opportunity came for him to buy a wheeled digger from a local plant company that was giving up the service, he scraped savings together, borrowed from his parents and went for it. Shortly after that came a tractor and in the year 2000 came his first self-propelled forager. From then on, additional equipment has been added and upgraded, and today he runs a range of modern and reliable machinery including a Claas 890 Speedstar forager which is changed every 2-3 years to maintain reliability. A loyal customer base and close working relationships plus steady investment is making the business a continued success.
